Job Summary
Build and maintain relationships with AI vendors/distributors, Monitor market availability (important for GPUs and constrained components). In this role, you will engage vendors, distributor and system integrator, buy new or refurbish AI equipment.
Duties
- Build and maintain relationships with AI vendors/distributors
- Source and procure AI “components”
- Focus on Hardware: GPUs/accelerators, servers, networking (NICs), storage
- Collect requirements (performance, budget, timeline, compliance)
- Validate lead times, warranty/support, replacement parts, and upgrade paths
- Manage purchase orders, shipping/receiving, and documentation
- Sell AI components to customers
- Maintain product/Vendor knowledge and keep positioning updated
- Prepare pricing sheets and margin targets
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
