We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our dynamic team. As Senior AI/ML Engineer, you will collaborate with a cross-functional data team comprising other AI/ML Engineers, DevSecOps engineers, Product Owners, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Data Scientists. Your primary responsibility will be to develop Machine Learning models that are integral to a larger pipeline delivering value to our end customers. Be a foundational leader shaping next-generation technology for mission-critical applications.
- 5 years of relevant hands-on experience
- Strong practical experience in Software Engineering
- Practical experience designing, training, and deploying Machine Learning models (PyTorch preferred)
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Pragmatic knowledge of various ML subfields, especially NLP.
- A passion for (and track record of) innovation, an interest in exploring and leveraging new data modalities, and working across interdisciplinary teams
- Experience building and maintaining machine learning pipelines
- Experience in using data processing frameworks
- Practical programming and scripting skills
- Fast learner, analytical thinker, creative, hands-on, strong communication skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proven experience with modern software development and engineering practices including scrum/agile, Git, and DevOps
Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance
- Experience with ISR, Space Domain Awareness, counter-UAS, or space-based sensing.
- Background in edge computing, embedded AI, or real-time autonomous systems.
- Prior startup or high-growth company leadership experience.
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition pathways (SBIR/STTR, OTAs, FAR/DFARS).
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or related field.
Pay: $171,000.00 - $272,000.00 per year
