About Meaningful Beginnings:

Meaningful Beginnings (MB) is a premium childcare brand operating two centers in San Francisco, with a third opening in San Mateo in late 2026. We are scaling aggressively toward a 10-location roadmap. AI-powered operations are not a future concept for us—they are the core of how we grow rapidly without sacrificing quality.

We aren’t looking for someone to \explore\ AI or write theoretical reports. We are already building. We need a sharp, efficient technical consultant who can take our existing vision, build the workflows to maximize our operational efficiency, and run them.

The Role:

This is a hybrid Architect + Operator contract role. You will work directly with the leadership team to design, build, and deploy AI-powered workflows across our entire ecosystem—from enrollment and HR to budgeting and multi-center management.

You will be handed live, high-leverage tools mid-build and will be expected to own, optimize, and scale them end-to-end.

What You’ll Build & Optimize

Active Projects You’ll Inherit & Deploy:

• CFO Budget Agent: Integrated with Google Sheets to process per-center financial data.
• HR Assistant App: A Next.js application equipped with CA/SF labor law context.
• Live Monday.com Dashboard: Tracking real-time HR headcount and recruiting pipelines.
• Enrollment Coordinator App: Featuring an automated draft-and-approval pipeline.
• CEO KPI Dashboard: Consolidating executive-level metrics.

Ongoing Responsibilities:

• Maximize Workflow Efficiency: Audit current manual processes across enrollment, staffing, and compliance, and architect automated AI alternatives.
• Multi-Agent Design: Build and maintain advanced prompt architectures for specialized agents (COO, CMO, CFO, and EA agents) using the Claude API (Anthropic).
• System Integration: Seamlessly connect APIs across Monday.com, Google Sheets, Next.js, and internal platforms.
• Scale Documentation: Document every system rigorously so workflows can be instantly replicated as we open new center locations.

What We’re Looking For

Technical Must-Haves:

• LLM API Expertise: Hands-on experience building functional tools with Claude, OpenAI, or equivalent APIs.
• Code Proficiency: Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python, alongside experience with Next.js or similar React frameworks.
• API Integration: Proven ability to connect disparate tools (Google Workspace, Monday.com, CRMs).
• Code Inheritance: Highly comfortable stepping into half-built repositories, debugging, optimizing, and driving them to completion.

• Operator Mentality: You think in terms of efficiency, bottlenecks, and ROI, not just lines of code.
• Autonomy: You can translate high-level business needs into system logic without heavy hand-holding.
• Speed: You move fast, test iteratively, and communicate proactively.

Engagement Details

• Type: Contract/Freelance
• Hours: Estimated 10–20 hours/week to start, scaling up as our project load and location count expand.
• Location: Remote-friendly, but Bay Area preferred for occasional in-person strategic syncs.
• Rate: Competitive; commensurate with experience.
• Start Date: ASAP.
