AI/ML Engineer

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow and other AI tools to address diverse business challenges.
• Implement unsupervised learning techniques to uncover hidden patterns and insights within large datasets.
• Lead model training processes, ensuring accuracy, robustness, and scalability across platforms like AWS and Hadoop environments.
• Collaborate with data engineers to develop efficient ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources including SQL databases and linked data repositories.
• Deploy machine learning models into production environments with a focus on model performance monitoring and maintenance.
• Conduct data mining activities to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Contribute to database design and management to support scalable data storage solutions aligned with big data analytics needs.
• Work with cross-functional teams utilizing tools such as Talend, Looker, SAS, R, and VBA for comprehensive analytics reporting and visualization.
• Explore emerging AI technologies including natural language processing (NLP) and quantum engineering principles to enhance model capabilities.
• Write clean, efficient code in Python, Java, C, Bash (Unix shell), ensuring best practices in software development for AI applications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing machine learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow or similar tools.
• Strong programming skills in Python; proficiency in Java and C is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and related ecosystems.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services for scalable model training and deployment.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, ETL processes, database design principles, and linked data concepts.
• Expertise in natural language processing (NLP), data mining techniques, and analytics methodologies.
• Experience working with machine learning algorithms including unsupervised learning methods.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $95,558.38 - $115,081.06 per year
