Job Overview

The Director of AI Content Strategy, Social and Influence defines how Arm’s core AI messaging is translated into effective content strategies across audiences, channels, and formats. Working from messaging frameworks provided by corporate and business units, this role ensures that AI-focused content is planned with clear audience intent, the right channel mix, and the most effective formats to drive engagement and impact.

The role also oversees Arm’s social presence, social monitoring, and influencer strategy, ensuring a consistent, responsive, and high-impact external voice across key AI conversations. This is a strategic role focused on connecting messaging, audiences, and execution, in close partnership with Product Marketing, Campaigns, Creative, Media, and Communications and Events (when execution is at an event)

By improving how AI messaging is translated and amplified, this role increases the effectiveness of product creative and broader campaign assets, strengthens Arm’s visibility in key AI conversations, and drives more consistent engagement across priority audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Translate AI Messaging into effective content strategy

  • Take core AI messaging from Corporate and Business Units and translate it into actionable content strategies, audience & content channel mapping
  • Ensure messaging is adapted appropriately for different audiences and use cases

Maintain consistency across campaigns and always-on activity

  • Partner with Campaigns to define priority audiences and personas
  • Ensure content strategies are aligned to audience needs, behaviors, and channels

Help refine how Arm speaks to developers, partners, ecosystem, and investors

Guide Content Approach and Mix

  • Define the right content types to support each initiative (e.g., short-form vs long-form, video vs written, technical vs narrative)
  • Recommend content structures that best communicate key messages

Ensure a balanced and purposeful content mix across campaigns

Channel and Distribution Strategy

  • Recommend the most effective channels for each audience and content type

Partner with Campaigns, Social, and Media teams to align distribution plans with content strategy

  • Ensure content is designed with channel-specific behavior in mind

Paid Media Alignment

  • Work closely with Media teams and Campaign leads to inform paid media strategy
  • Ensure content is optimized for paid channels, formats, and targeting approaches
  • Help align organic and paid efforts for maximum reach and efficiency

Own Social and Always-On Presence

  • Oversee Arm’s global social presence and day-to-day strategy
  • Build a more consistent, proactive, and responsive publishing model
  • Ensure social reflects priority messaging and campaign focus

Social Monitoring and Insight

  • Establish and oversee social listening and monitoring
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in real time
  • Feed insights back into content, campaigns, and communications

Influencer and Ecosystem Strategy

  • Define and lead Arm’s influencer and creator strategy across key AI audiences

Identify, engage, and manage relationships with high-impact external voices (developers, analysts, creators, ecosystem partners)

  • Own influencer-led content development and activation, leveraging external creators to extend reach, credibility, and engagement across priority AI audiences

Ensure influencer activity is integrated with broader content, social, and campaign strategies to maximize reach and impact

Partner Across Creative and Campaigns

  • Inform creative briefs and content direction based on audience and channel strategy
  • Partner with Campaigns to align content with broader activation plans\
  • Ensure strategy translates cleanly into execution without fragmentation

This role strengthens how Arm shows up in AI by ensuring messaging is translated into effective content, consistently distributed, and amplified through social and influencer channels, improving visibility, engagement, and overall market perception.

Salary Range:

£122,900
