The Role

We are seeking an intellectually curious, high-energy Data Science Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be part of a team that drives the optimization of our core products and development of new products. You will work cross-functionally with the business analytics, data science, and engineering teams to turn raw client data into innovative business products.

What You’ll Do

• Build and validate predictive machine learning models to optimize our existing core product performance and help develop brand-new, data-driven features.
• Develop analytical tools and interactive dashboards to track performance both internally and externally.
• Deep dive into diverse client datasets to continuously analyze, track, and directly improve core operational performance metrics.
• Partner directly with external third-party data and software vendors to analyze performance gaps and identify strategic areas of improvement.
• Deploy data pipelines, models, and predictions into internal production servicing systems, and establish API connections to integrate external data sources.
• Work closely with our internal engineering and development teams to map out enhancements, optimize data architecture, and improve our internal systems.
• Rapidly scope, investigate, and execute ad-hoc business intelligence requests and investigative research assignments.

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related field; or a Bachelor's degree in similar fields with 2 years of work experience.
• High proficiency in writing clean, efficient Python and SQL scripts.
• Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow).
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and forecasting techniques.
• Experience with data pipeline and API integrations.
• A naturally sharp, critical thinker who can easily process ambiguous datasets, spot anomalies, and translate complex math into sound business logic.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings to management and clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a quantitative or data science field.
• 1+ years of practical experience within a dedicated business analytics or data science role.
• Hands-on familiarity with modern AI-assisted "vibe coding" tools and workflows.
• Professional work experience in the consumer lending industry.
