HM Note : We need a Project Manager with experience leading large-scale technology initiatives within Banking, Capital Markets, and Global Markets environments, delivering AI/GenAI, data, and software platform programs, managing cross-functional teams, budgets, regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, Agile delivery, and enterprise transformation projects across complex financial services organizations. We are not looking for a hard-core IT or Infra PM here.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a strategic Generative AI (GenAI) platform initiative supporting Global Markets, Sales & Trading, Quantitative Strategies, Research, and Operations teams in the BFSI space. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing large-scale software development programs, working with cross-functional teams, and delivering projects within scope, budget, and timelines in a financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery
Create and maintain project plans, timelines, dependencies, and risk registers
Track budgets, resources, milestones, and deliverables
Coordinate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and leadership
Facilitate status meetings and provide executive-level reporting
Identify project risks/issues and drive resolution plans
Manage change requests and communicate business impacts
Ensure compliance with internal governance, release management, and regulatory requirements
Support audit, risk, and regulatory reporting activities

Required Experience Non Negotiable

8+ years of Project Management experience
3+ years in the financial industry with exposure to Global Markets (Sales Trading) & capital Markets
5+ years managing large cross-functional software development programs
Experience delivering enterprise technology projects using Agile methodologies
Strong budget management and stakeholder management skills
Experience working with AI/ML, data platforms, or emerging technology initiatives
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
Experience with Jira, Confluence, and project management tools

Preferred Experience

Financial Services or Banking industry experience
Exposure to Global Markets, Sales & Trading environments
Experience with cloud-based and microservices platforms
Familiarity with enterprise change management and release governance processes
Experience supporting regulatory and compliance-driven programs

Certifications

PMP, ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent Project Management certification preferred
