Nice to meet you! I'm Milja Valentine (https://www.linkedin.com/in/milja\-valentine/), a Senior Talent Partner at LeadDesk. Together with Mikko Räty (https://www.linkedin.com/in/mikkoraty/), our Head of Product, we're looking for a Commercial Product Manager (AI) to join our Product team.

This is a new role and a genuine opportunity to work at the forefront of AI in customer service. The role can be based in our Helsinki, Oslo, or Stockholm office. You'll work across our portfolio of customer service solutions, collaborating with customers, sales, and engineering to drive the commercial development of AI capabilities. You won't just be watching the AI shift happen in customer service. You'll be helping to lead it.

The role is built to fit the right person. If you are earlier in your career but deeply immersed in the AI space, great. If you come with years of product experience in SaaS or AI, also great. The scope, responsibilities, and compensation will reflect who you are and what you bring.

What you can expect as a Commercial Product Manager (AI) a****t LeadDesk

This is a commercially focused product role. You'll work across our customer service product portfolio and act as the connection point between what is technically possible and what creates real value for customers.

  • Leading commercial discussions with customers and sales to understand needs and shape AI product direction
  • Driving the development of sellable AI features and capabilities across LeadDesk's customer service platform
  • Collaborating with engineering and R&D teams to bring AI innovations to market as concrete, valuable products
  • Working with Product, Sales, Operations, and Customer Success on go-to-market readiness, packaging, and positioning of AI solutions
  • Keeping up with AI developments in the customer service space and bringing fresh thinking and direction to the organisation
  • Contributing to pricing, packaging, and commercial models for AI-driven features

What success looks like in this role in the first 6 months and beyond

  • You've built strong working relationships with customers and sales, and earned their trust as a credible AI product partner
  • You've taken clear ownership of AI commercial product topics and are moving them forward independently
  • Together with the team, you are turning AI possibilities into concrete, prioritised product initiatives
  • Revenue and commercial performance from AI-related products is moving in the right direction, or you have a clear view of how to get it there

Must-haves

  • Experience in product management, commercial product development, business operations, or similar business and technology-focused roles
  • A genuine passion for AI. You follow what is happening in the space, experiment with tools, and think about what AI can make possible
  • Ability to turn technical AI capabilities into clear business value and customer-facing messaging
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience working with KPIs, reporting, and business data
  • Experience working cross-functionally with both commercial and technical stakeholders
  • Ability to bring structure into fast-moving environments and independently drive initiatives forward
  • Relevant degree in a commercial or technical field
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Nice**-to-haves**

  • Experience with AI products, automation, conversational AI, or customer service technology is a strong advantage
  • Background in scale-up or international B2B SaaS environments
  • Familiarity with usage-based or AI-driven business models
  • Fluency in any additional European language (e.g., Finnish, Swedish, Norweigian, Danish, Dutch, German, Spanish)

Practicalities

  • Location: Helsinki, Stockholm, or Oslo (hybrid work model, 3 days a week at the office)
  • Travel: Regular travel within the Nordics and Europe, approximately weekly
  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Employment: Full-time, permanent
  • Salary for those earlier in their career: 5 000-6 000 EUR/month
  • Salary for those with strong, proven experience: 6 000-8 000 EUR/month
  • Performance-based bonus with OTE approximately 10 000-20 000 EUR annually depending on experience level
