Lead AI Engineer

As a Lead AI Engineer here at Honeywell, you will provide expert-level technical leadership in the design and development of AI algorithms, models, and systems. This specific role will be focused on development of computer vision, artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomy technologies for aerial vehicle platforms. This dynamic role will be responsible for crafting and implementing multi-year research plans, developing, and supporting AI technologies for autonomous vehicle operations, including navigation, obstacle detection, etc. The role includes pursuit of both government and internal funding for technology development, as well as leading the execution of the work with our global team of talented scientists and engineers. Your contributions will play a central role in the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI solutions, contributing to Honeywell's commitment to innovation and cutting-edge technology.

You will report directly to our manager of autonomy, computer vision and AI research group and you’ll work out of our Plymouth, MN location on a hybrid work schedule.
