Senior Generative AI Developer

Job Title: Sr. Generative AI

Location : Onsite - Waller, TX

REQUIRED SKILLS:

1. Developer advocate

One who understands Gen AI , tools like GitHub copilot product, its value, and ability to educate teams thereby accelerate adoption and consumption.

Generative AI-Specific Knowledge

1. Understanding of prompt design, token optimization, and use case adaptation for generative AI tools.

2. Ability to analyze usage metrics (e.g., token consumption, accuracy, and failure rates) and derive insights for improving user adoption and efficiency.

3. Experience managing fine-tuning, updating, or upgrading models hosted on proprietary infrastructure.

4. Knowledge of data and underlying architecture to facilitate the application of GenAI at Verizon.

5. Ability to work on unique projects to create and incorporate GenAI technology to improve developer capabilities and experience.

2. Technical Expertise

1. Proficiency in building MCP (Model Context Protocol) and A2A (Agent to Agent) protocols and integrating the solutions with DevOps Tools.

2. Experience with Docker and Google Kubernetes Engine for deploying and managing self-hosted generative AI tools.

3. Familiarity with AWS and GCP to support hosting and scaling AI products in cloud environments.

3. Operational Expertise

1. Proven experience in monitoring AI systems for performance, identifying bottlenecks, and troubleshooting issues to maintain high availability.

2. Ability to fine-tune generative AI models or systems for improved performance, latency reduction, and user experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
