Business Intelligence Analyst Internships

Alan B. Lancz and Associates, Inc., is currently offering full-time, flexible term Business Intelligence Analyst Internships in the fields of Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or Statistics. The positions will be located at our corporate offices in Toledo, OH with the potential for future full-time employment as a financial professional with the firm.

The chosen candidates will be working in all aspects of business intelligence gathering. Additional duties will include assistance in the preparation, publication and distribution of research, along with practical hands-on experience in private equity, real estate, and investment analysis. Compensation will be determined by qualifications and experience. The term of the Internship will depend on projects, areas of expertise and team member reviews.

Other Key Areas Are

• AI Integration & Training: Assist in designing, training, and fine-tuning AI models. Implement agentic workflows (autonomous, goal-driven AI agents) to automate complex tasks and enhance application intelligence.
• Application Development: Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in C# and Python across backend services and internal tooling.
• Mobile-First Web Development: Build responsive, high-performance, and mobile-friendly web applications that deliver seamless user experiences.
• Collaboration: Partner with senior engineers, product managers, and data scientists to translate AI capabilities into functional, user-facing product features.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Programming Proficiency: Solid experience coding in both C# (e.g., NET ecosystem) and Python (e.g., for data processing, scripting, or AI frameworks).
• AI Concept Knowledge: Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), machine learning fundamentals, and the mechanics of Agentic AI (such as frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, or CrewAI).
• Web Development: Hands-on experience building responsive web applications with a focus on mobile optimization, using HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience and Education: 1–3 years of professional software development experience, or a strong portfolio of relevant project/academic work demonstrating these skills. Bachelor’s degree completed in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
