Job description
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in test engineering or equivalent.
- Experience developing and integrating manufacturing Rack/L11 test hardware using custom electronics, fixturing, and instrumentation.
- Experience coding in Python, Bash, and Shell scripting to generate product-specific test plans and execute test processes.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with Rack and L11 testing of server, storage, and networking products and with liquid cool system at the rack level for configuration and functional testing.
- Experience in establishing system calibration, gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (R&R), and correlation study for each change management.
- Experience with test stations bring-up, calibration and setup for production test purposes.
- Experience with DFT and system level functional test (L10/L11/L12).
- Knowledge with the Linux and other operating systems and common command line tools.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement of test systems and processes for increased manufacturability.

- Design, build, optimize and deploy Rack and L11 test platforms for Google compute/storage/ML server at the global manufacturing partner factory.
- Collaborate with the NPI team to define Design for Test (DFT) requirements and provide input to manufacturing test strategy.
- Provide caliber manufacturing test engineering support for new and existing products.
- Drive initiatives to improve test process efficiencies, test coverage, and reduce cost.
- Analyze, troubleshoot and root cause manufacturing yield issues and data center field escapes, while driving sustaining test issues to closure with corrective and preventive measures.
