As a data scientist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our AI and ML capabilities through innovation and transformation.

As part of the Global Services Supply Chain Transformation & Technology team, your primary focus will be applying AI and ML capabilities to solve business challenges, improve operational efficiency, and advance our journey toward an autonomous supply chain.

What you’ll achieve

As a Data Science Advisor, you will be responsible for contributing to business strategy and influencing decision-making based on information gained from deep dive analysis. You will produce actionable and compelling recommendations by interpreting insights from complex data sets and deploying AI/ML solutions for business use. You will design, build, and deploy processes to consolidate and examine unstructured data to generate actionable insights. You will also work directly with business leaders, engineers, and industry experts to construct predictive models, algorithms, and probability engines.

  • Partner with internal and external teams to understand customer requirements and develop proposals

  • Interact with stakeholders to gather project requirements, provide status updates and share analytical insights

  • Implement preliminary data exploration and data preparation steps for model development/validation

  • Apply a broad range of techniques and theories from statistics, machine learning, and business intelligence to deliver actionable business insights Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of industry experience, Master’s degree with 2+ years of industry experience, Ph.D. degree in quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research or related field

  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands‑on experience using AI/ML libraries such as pandas, scikit‑learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar

  • Hands‑on experience with time series forecasting methods, including classical methods (e.g. ARIMA, Exponential smoothing, Prophet), machine learning methods (e.g. Random Forest, XGboost) and deep learning methods (e.g. RNN, LSTM)

  • Expertise in core machine learning algorithms, including supervised learning (e.g. regression, classification) and unsupervised learning (e.g. clustering, anomaly detection)

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with Linear Programming and Network Optimization

  • Experience with Computer Vision techniques for image classification, object detection, and segmentation. Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic AI frameworks such as Langchain, Langgraph, AutoGen or similar
