Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 year of experience in public relations, media relations, or internal and executive communications with technology products or services.
- Experience in product communications, strategy, or policy related to AI products.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with the press and creators and running PR programming at large-scale events.
- Experience working in the enterprise technology space, and understanding of Google Cloud products and services.
- Ability to think strategically and develop creative communications strategies that drive results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective team player who can work cross-functionally to meet project deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.

As part of the Google Cloud Communications team in Global Communications and Public Affairs (GCPA), it’s our job to help inform and educate customers, partners, opinion leaders — and our own employees — about the benefits of our products, our company culture & values, and our approach to the big public policy issues of the day. To succeed here, you'll need to combine creativity with organizational skills and manage numerous projects to tight deadlines simultaneously, as well as enjoy pitching to journalists, bloggers and commentators.
As a key member of the Google Cloud Communications team, you will be responsible for defining and executing a holistic communications strategy to drive awareness and excitement for Google's enterprise AI offerings. This includes a heavy focus on executing global Gemini Enterprise product launches, building external media campaigns for our executives, cultivating a creator and influencer program, and executing in-person press and creator events. A primary focus of this role will be to showcase Google Cloud’s product leadership through our Gemini Enterprise sustained momentum campaigns.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $141000 - $206000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive communications plans for product launches and platform updates, crafting compelling messaging for strategic initiatives that showcase our product leadership with the Cloud AI product portfolio.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leaders across the Cloud AI portfolio and stakeholder groups to ensure a cohesive global one Google AI comms strategy.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key tech and business journalists, as well as key opinion formers to secure high-impact coverage.
- Manage a global creator program to advance the visibility of Gemini Enterprise, working closely with creator working groups across Google and with our agency partners.
- Plan and execute high-impact in-person and virtual press and creator events to build relationships and drive coverage.
