Job Summary
We are a respected State and Local Tax law firm with offices in Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, and Tallahassee. We are building the next generation of legal technology solutions and are looking for a curious, driven Junior Software Developer to join our team.
This is a unique opportunity to work directly with firm leadership to design and implement AI-powered tools, internal applications, and automation systems that have real, immediate impact. What You’ll Do
AI & Automation
- Research, configure, and deploy AI tools and multi-agent frameworks (e.g., OpenClaw, CrewAI)
- Help automate workflows across the firm
Backend Development
- Build and maintain APIs, databases, and server-side systems
- Support internal tools and automation infrastructure
Frontend Development
- Create clean, user-friendly interfaces and dashboards
- Work with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Legal Technology Solutions
- Develop tools for document management, tax research, filing tracking, and client intake
Data & IT Support
- Help manage and secure firm data
- Provide general technical support to staff
Research & Innovation
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies
- Recommend and experiment with new tools and solutions
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.)
- Foundational understanding of web development (HTML, CSS, REST APIs)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a self-starter mindset
- Ability to learn independently and adapt quickly
- Reliable, professional, and authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts, LLMs, or agent frameworks (OpenClaw, CrewAI, AutoGen)
- Experience with Python, Node.js, React, Git, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Familiarity with databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Interest in legal technology
- GitHub, portfolio, or personal projects demonstrating your work
