Automation AI Engineer
Reports To: Director of AI
Location: Hybrid, Galway
Role Purpose
The Automation AI Engineer is responsible for working on a team that designs, builds and supports automation and AI solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experience and reduce manual effort across Intuity and its customers.
The role is focused on hands-on delivery, working with Microsoft technologies, Power Platform, AI services and automation platforms to develop practical solutions that create measurable business value while adhering to Intuity's governance, security and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Workflow Design Development
- Design, build and deploy automation workflows that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop integrations between business systems, applications and data sources.
- Translate business processes into practical workflow designs, including triggers, actions, approvals and hand-offs.
- Deliver workflow solutions that are scalable, supportable and secure.
AI Development through Agents
- Create AI assistants, agents and copilots to support internal teams and customers.
- Configure agent behaviours, knowledge sources, prompts and workflows to align with business requirements.
- Test and refine AI outputs to ensure accuracy, usefulness and appropriate escalation to human teams.
- Ensure AI solutions are developed in line with Intuity's responsible AI, security and governance requirements.
Governance Quality
- Ensure solutions comply with Intuity AI, security and governance standards.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational support materials.
- Participate in testing, troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
- Contribute to the registration and review of AI and automation solutions.
Experience Skills
Essential
- Experience developing automations, applications or integrations.
- Experience with Power Platform, Power Automate or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of APIs, data integration and scripting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
