AI Software Intern

Vishru is building AI-powered digital signage that adapts content to any display in real time. As an AI Software Intern, you'll work directly with the founding team to design, build, and deploy AI features across the full stack — from training and optimizing computer vision models for audience detection, to building content intelligence pipelines that decide what to show on screen and when, to deploying on-device inference on edge hardware (NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi). This is not a shadowing role: you'll own features end-to-end, write production code that runs on real displays, and see your work ship to customers. You'll rapidly prototype ideas — going from concept to working demo in hours using AI-assisted development tools — and gain deep exposure to applied ML, edge computing, real-time systems, and full-stack development at a fast-moving early-stage startup.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Currently recently completed a BS/MS in Computer Science, AI/ML, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Proficient in Python; working knowledge of at least one of TypeScript, Rust, or C++
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks — PyTorch, TensorFlow, or ONNX Runtime
• Familiarity with computer vision concepts (object detection, classification, tracking) or NLP
• Exposure to model optimization techniques: quantization, pruning, distillation, or TensorRT
• Rapid prototyping skills — comfortable using Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar AI-assisted dev tools to build and iterate quickly
• Experience with Linux environments, command-line tooling, and SSH into remote machines
• Interest in edge AI, on-device inference, or real-time embedded systems
• Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity — you ship without waiting for a spec
• Portfolio projects, Kaggle competitions, hackathon wins, research papers, or open-source contributions strongly preferred

Pay: Up to $40,000.00 per year
