Quality Engineering & Surveying, LLC (QES) is committed to innovation and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to improve operations, decision-making, and customer experiences. We are seeking a motivated and curious AI Intern to join our team and contribute to real-world artificial intelligence and data-driven projects. Position OverviewAs an AI Intern at QES, you will work alongside experienced professionals to design, develop, and implement AI and machine learning solutions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about emerging technologies, problem-solving, and applying AI in practical business environments. Key Responsibilities of the AI Intern
- Assist in developing and implementing machine learning models and AI solutions
- Conduct data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing for analysis
- Support automation and optimization projects using AI tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration
- Perform research on AI trends, tools, and best practices
- Analyze and present insights and findings to the team
- Help document processes and maintain technical documentation
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or Java
- Experience with libraries/frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Knowledge of SQL and databases
- Exposure to natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
