Seven Boson Group · Remote · San Jose
Job description
Overview
Seven Boson Group is building the world's first Sovereign Agent Operating System — a complete, air-gappable, vendor-agnostic AI platform deployed across 20 nations - built open-source, for governments and enterprises that cannot put defense , healthcare, or financial data on US hyperscaler infrastructure. The VP of Technology architects the full sovereign stack, from the Hardware Abstraction Layer through inference serving and agent orchestration, and manages the global engineering team alongside the Head of Enterprise Architecture.
Duties
- Design and own the Seven Boson Sovereign Cloud OS — replacing Google GDC for international sovereign deployments by Month 6
- Architect the HAL migration path: NVIDIA NIMs (USA) → ONNX + Triton (international) → OpenXLA compiled (Year 3)
- Build and manage the lean 7-person engineering team across USA and India, including ML, App, Data, DevOps, and Security engineers
- Own the AgentSpec orchestration layer, OpenClaw++ agent runtime, Guardian HITL system, and Signed Action Protocol
- Build the software stack to support the R2-RIE World Model research program to produce net-new sovereign IP
- Define and enforce engineering gates: every milestone must be demonstrable live to a government minister within 30 minutes
- Own GPU cluster management, Kubernetes at 1000+ node scale, and model serving at production scale
- Ensure sovereign and air-gapped deployment readiness across 20 international jurisdictions
Skills
- 10+ years distributed systems experience; 5+ years at hyperscaler scale — Meta, Google, Palantir, Anduril, or equivalent
- Hands-on GPU cluster management, Kubernetes at 1000+ nodes, production model serving
- Deep expertise in at least two: CUDA optimization, ONNX Runtime, Triton Inference Server, vLLM, OpenXLA
- Sovereign or classified/air-gapped system design experience (Palantir, defense, or government AI)
- Strong infrastructure-as-code: OpenTofu/Terraform, GitOps, Kubernetes operator patterns
- Prior VP Engineering or CTO experience managing distributed multi-geo teams
- Preferred: India, Singapore, Middle East, or EU regulated environment deployment experience
- Preferred: HL7 FHIR or clinical AI deployment familiarity
- Preferred: open-source contributor to Triton, vLLM, Kubernetes, or equivalent
