Company Description:

Ag global proprietary trading powerhouse, renowned for its cutting-edge technology, is seeking a Lead Machine Learning Researcher to spearhead the development of a centralized ML team, aimed at delivering impactful contributions across trading teams firmwide. The firm is also seeking Individual Contrbibutors.

Role Description:

As the Lead Machine Learning Researcher, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced ML models to enhance performance across a range of market-leading trading teams and asset classes.

In addition to hands-on research, you will play a key leadership role -building, mentoring, and guiding a high-performing team of ML professionals. You will collaborate closely with world-class researchers, traders, and engineers across the firm to integrate innovative machine learning solutions into live trading environments.

Qualifications:

• PhD or Master’s degree in a STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering).
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• 4+ years of experience developing and deploying applied machine learning models, ideally within a trading or quantitative finance environment.
• Solid theoretical grounding in modern machine learning methodologies and model architectures.
