Role Overview
This role is designed for a professional who can bridge legal expertise, artificial intelligence, and real‑world practice needs. As a Legal AI Solutions Advisor, you will work directly with legal teams to identify where AI can enhance workflows, then design, test, and implement solutions that are both effective and responsible.
You will operate as a trusted advisor to attorneys while remaining hands‑on in building and refining AI‑enabled workflows. The position blends experimentation with delivery, supporting both internal initiatives and select client‑facing engagements that apply AI to legal services at a high standard of quality and professionalism.
Your Impact
The Legal AI Solutions Advisor is part of an innovation‑focused AI advisory group that partners closely with attorneys, engineers, data scientists, and project managers. Through a matrixed reporting relationship with innovation engineering leadership, you will translate legal work into scalable, well‑documented AI solutions while helping establish best practices that can be reused across the organization.
Your work will directly influence how AI is adopted responsibly within legal practice—improving efficiency, consistency, and confidence while maintaining governance and trust.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Engagement & Advisory
- Serve as a credible, practice‑embedded advisor on AI strategy and workflow integration.
- Partner with litigation and transactional teams to analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for AI‑enabled enhancement.
- Translate attorney tasks and pain points into clear, scoped solution requirements, leveraging existing tools where possible.
- Support selected client engagements involving AI‑assisted legal services, ensuring delivery quality aligns with professional standards.
- Guide attorneys on responsible AI use, including understanding system strengths, limitations, and governance requirements.
- Coordinate scope, timelines, and stakeholders for AI workflow initiatives.
AI Workflow Design & Iteration
- Own end‑to‑end development of AI‑enabled legal workflows, from task decomposition through prompt design, testing, and refinement.
- Design and execute structured testing protocols, including benchmarking outputs, validating accuracy, and incorporating attorney feedback.
- Maintain detailed workflow documentation capturing task definitions, prompt logic, validation criteria, constraints, and known failure modes to ensure reproducibility and scalability.
- Partner with engineers as workflows mature, translating legal intent into technical execution while building deeper technical fluency.
Playbooks, Training & Enablement
- Contribute to a reusable AI workflow playbook, including templates, design patterns, decision frameworks, and implementation guides.
- Share insights on AI tools, capabilities, and product directions informed by hands‑on legal practice experience.
- Collaborate with training and development teams to design and deliver attorney education programs, including demos, guides, and feedback mechanisms.
- Track and report workflow progress, adoption, and outcomes to innovation leadership.
- Stay current on AI developments, regulatory considerations, and industry best practices relevant to legal services.

- Strong process‑design mindset with demonstrated comfort working with generative AI and large language models.
- Hands‑on experience using legal AI platforms, including building and refining prompts and workflows with accountability for output quality.
- Ability to establish credibility with attorneys and senior stakeholders, influencing decisions in fast‑moving and ambiguous environments.
