Skills, knowledge, experience required:

• 5+ years requirements/systems engineering for complex systems in defence or industry;
• At least 2 years' experience in writing AI-related requirement documents;
• Proven delivery in secure or regulated environments; collaboration with multi-stakeholder, multinational teams.

Desirable:

• Proven ability to facilitate ideation/workshops, prototype concepts, and convert ambiguous needs into clear, testable requirements and actionable roadmaps;
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into operational requirements for non-technical stakeholders;
• Strong project coordination and organization, including timeline and priority management.

Duties/role:

• Conducting horizon scanning, customer surveys, and reviewing existing requirements for potential alignment and optimisation.
• Collaborating with stakeholders and end users to understand requirements for advanced analytics and AI tools.
• Analysing near- and long-term AI opportunities with clear operational value for space-based ISR workflows.
