Construction Project Manager

Job description

Our rapidly expanding entity is looking to fill two Implementation / Construction Project Manager position to manager implementation and deployment of our sites. We specialize in both retrofitting sites and our Quick Drop Units (containerized frictionless site that has the ability to be dropped anywhere and moved as needed) combining AI & Computer vision to enable unmanned autonomous environments.

We are seeking someone to oversee and manage projects related to the in-house fabrication, shipment, and on-site deployment of our products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires top-notch organizational and communication skills, a hard worker with the ability to work well under pressure, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Please note, this is an in-office role at our Santa Ana Facility.

Project Planning and Management

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, implementation, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Facility and Fabrication Oversight

• Monitor status of in-house fabrication of products, ensuring that production schedules align with project deadlines.
• Work closely with facility staff to manage inventory, materials, and equipment needed for each project.

Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate the shipment of products to the deployment site, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Work with logistics teams to manage transportation and any necessary permits or documentation.

On-Site Deployment Management

• Track the on-site installation and deployment of products, coordinating with site managers and contractors as needed.
• Ensure that all on-site activities comply with safety regulations and company standards.

Stakeholder Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status.
• Communicate project expectations, risks, deliverables, and milestones to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Risk Management

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs.
• Proactively and transparently communicate risks or changes quickly and effectively to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure that all project activities adhere to industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Minimum two years of project coordination or project management
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to multi-task across various different projects simultaneously
• Experience seeing projects through the full lifecycle
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Maintain a positive attitude with co-workers
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Smartsheet experience a plus

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
