AI Prompt Engineer

ABHITO LLC is hiring an AI Prompt Engineer to design, test, and optimize prompts for our enterprise AI products and client-facing agentic AI solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, reliability, and performance of AI outputs.

Responsibilities:

• Design and iterate on system prompts, few-shot examples, and chain-of-thought frameworks
• Work with RAG pipelines to improve retrieval accuracy and response quality
• Evaluate and benchmark AI outputs against defined quality criteria
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and AI quality teams
• Document prompt engineering patterns and best practices
• Support AI Quality practice by diagnosing hallucination and retrieval failures

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in prompt engineering or applied LLM work
• Hands-on experience with Claude, GPT-4, or similar frontier models
• Familiarity with RAG architectures, vector databases, and embedding strategies
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Background in linguistics, computer science, or related field preferred
