About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Software Engineer (AI Solutions) to join our growing development team. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining software applications, including AI-powered business solutions. You will work on projects involving web applications, APIs, cloud technologies, AI integration, and automation solutions tailored to client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software applications.
• Analyse business and user requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Design and develop AI-powered applications and intelligent automation solutions.
• Integrate Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models into software applications.
• Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Develop responsive web applications using modern technologies.
• Test, debug and optimise software applications.
• Participate in software architecture, code reviews and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software solutions.
• Support deployment, maintenance and continuous improvement of software products.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must possess:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum one (1) year of relevant full-time professional experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
• Experience developing software using technologies such as:
• C#
• .NET / .NET Core
• SQL Server
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• RESTful APIs
• Git version control
• Experience working with Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications, including AI integration, Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, Generative AI, or AI APIs.
• Understanding of AI frameworks, prompt engineering, AI model integration, or cloud-based AI services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable Skills

Experience with one or more of the following will be highly regarded:

• React or Angular
• Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI API, or similar AI platforms
• Python
• Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipelines
• Agile software development methodologies
