Eaton is redefining how intelligent power systems operate, scale, and autonomously optimise themselves. We are seeking a Principal AI Product Manager to own the strategy that transforms advanced AI research and capabilities into scalable, intelligent products shaping the future of power systems.
What you’ll do:
This role defines and owns the AI and ML product strategy within CIP (Center for Intelligent Power) , operating at the intersection of R&D, AI/ML technology, and product architecture. Unlike traditional product management roles, this position focuses on creating foundational product concepts and long-term strategy rather than managing day-to-day delivery or incremental releases.
You will play an instrumental role in driving innovative AI-enabled solutions that elevate the intelligence, performance, and autonomy of power systems across critical industries and sectors.
What You’ll Do
- Define and execute a clear AI/ML product vision and strategy aligned with Eaton’s business objectives and innovation roadmap.
- Translate cutting-edge R&D and AI/ML capabilities into scalable, differentiated product concepts and platforms.
- Partner with commercial product managers to enable market-ready solutions while maintaining strategic ownership.
- Shape a cohesive AI-enabled product ecosystem across Eaton’s Intelligent Power portfolio. Influence senior stakeholders, prioritise product investments, and mentor product leaders to drive product-centric ways of working.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in product management, AI/ML, data science, or closely related roles
- Strong understanding of AI/ML, with experience productising advanced analytics at scale
