In the context of EU funded projects, we are seeking a Junior Data Scientist (curricular internship) to join our dynamic R&D teams.

This team provides an enriching academic-like environment, comprising highly skilled and knowledgeable members who exude innovative thinking and a vibrant spirit. As of today, our projects span diverse research fields, ranging from cybersecurity to biology, Big Data, and medical image processing.

Responsibilities

• Formulation and implementation of classification and regression algorithms;
• Data analysis;
• Requirements analysis;
• Participating in technical and operational meetings.

Requirements

Required Experience

• Familiarity with Python

Skills & Requirements

• Good knowledge of statistics and machine-learning;
• Basic understanding of Python;
• Familiarity with scikit-learn and pytorch is a strong plus;
• Familiarity with cybersecurity is a plus; Eagerness to learn and stay current with AI trends.

Bonus skills

• Google Cloud Platform, AWS;
• Proficiency in spoken and written English;
• Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git.

Benefits

We are offering a 6 month curricular intern position, be re-evaluated in the event of renewal up to 12 months, and a reimbursment of €700.

We will provide you a company PC for a better performance of the required activities.

The work can be performed also from remote, however it is required to occasionally take part in in-person business meetings in Milan.
