Marketing Transformation Consultant, AI Enablement & Operations
Marketing Strategy & Planning
Full-time, Boston MA
As a Marketing Transformation Consultant, AI Enablement & Operations, you will lead operational excellence across the marketing organization by driving process improvements, scaling AI-enabled tools and workflows, advancing change management efforts, and shaping the operations tool strategy and roadmap.
In this role, you will partner closely with senior marketing leaders across the org, Technology, Compliance, and external vendors to ensure successful adoption of AI capabilities, design, operationalize, and continuously improve marketing processes, and marketing operations performance management frameworks.
The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing operations leader who brings exceptional cross-functional expertise, strong business, technical and analytical acumen, and the ability to influence outcomes across a complex, distributed organization. You bring a big picture perspective while maintaining a structured, detailed oriented approach and thrive in a collaborative environment.

The Team
This position reports to the Head of Marketing Strategy & Planning and sits within the Marketing Operations, Strategy & Planning organization. The team connects strategy, operations, AI adoption and execution, helping the Marketing work more safely, efficiently, and consistently across channels and partners. We partner closely with leaders across Marketing, Finance, Technology, and Distribution channels.
Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination and adoption of AI enabled capabilities across Marketing, driving organizational change management, stakeholder alignment and measurable impact
- Identify, prioritize, and operationalize high value AI use cases across content production: develop and maintain a prioritization framework to track AI use case execution status and report on progress toward impact
- Establish and manage operational performance dashboards, including ops efficiency and results of AI adoption: speed to market, productivity gains and business impact and KPIs for AI activities across the Marketing organization
- Oversee and continuously improve cross-departmental and cross-functional marketing operations processes and workflows, for an AI enabled organization
- Design, operationalize, and manage scalable processes and workflows that improve efficiency, clarify accountability, accelerate speed-to-market, and enable seamless collaboration
- Develop, define and execute Marketing Ops Tool strategy and roadmap
- Lead the selection, implementation, optimization, and business ownership of marketing enablement platforms, such as Project Management tool, Gen AI Tools, and the workflows/guardrails that drive adoption
- Refine governance, processes, and operating models to improve tool adoption and rollout
- Drive and manage continuous improvement initiatives and change management efforts across a complex, distributed organization, including developing change management plans for marketing operations and determining optimized end-to-end workflows
- Develop business cases, cost benefit analysis and investment recommendations for marketing operations capabilities and transformational activities
- Lead through influence across a matrixed organization, providing direction, structure and thought leadership. Partner with Technology, and Distribution to drive alignment, adoption, and sustained change, and responsible AI usages
- Success is measured by tangible outcomes such as, successful platform implementations, process efficiency improvements, and strong stakeholder alignment—outcomes that are inherently well-suited to a remote working model.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 6+ years of directly relevant experience across marketing operations, planning, technology, or analytics
- 3+ years of hands-on experience across multiple marketing disciplines, including strategy & planning, operations, technology, digital, brand, creative, integrated campaigns, demand generation, analytics, or insights
- 3+ demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and vendor relationship management without formal authority
- 1+ experience in designing and implementing GenAI-enabled marketing workflows with appropriate risk, compliance, and governance. Experience driving AI adoption
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent)
- Experience within financial services or insurance strongly preferred
- Experience partnering with Technology and vendors to implement and scale marketing platforms and AI capabilities
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking skills
- Exceptional written, verbal, and executive-level communication capabilities
- Proven ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in fast-paced, high-change environments
- Experience within financial services or insurance strongly preferred
- Experience facilitating enterprise or portfolio-level planning processes
- Strong background in business case development, ROI evaluation, and marketing investment optimization

Salary Range: $124,800-$163,800
