Job Description:

• This is a technical leadership role for someone with a strong background in cloud security, application security, or DevSecOps who enjoys solving complex security challenges while mentoring a small team. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between cybersecurity, cloud engineering, AI development, and infrastructure teams to ensure AI solutions are deployed securely.
• Lead and mentor a team of AI Security Remediation Analysts.
• Prioritize and coordinate remediation activities based on business risk and technical impact.
• Review security findings and validate remediation plans.
• Partner with software engineering, cloud, DevOps, infrastructure, and AI development teams to resolve security vulnerabilities.

Oversee remediation efforts related to:

• AI applications and AI agents
• Cloud infrastructure
• APIs and integrations
• Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Machine identities and service accounts
• Review AI deployments for security weaknesses, misconfigurations, excessive permissions, insecure APIs, secrets management, and authentication issues.
• Drive remediation metrics, governance, and process improvements.
• Support Zero Trust initiatives and secure AI deployment practices.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex security remediation efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in one or more of the following:
• Application Security
• Cloud Security
• DevSecOps
• Product Security
• Security Engineering
• Experience securing cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of:
• Secure SDLC
• CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud-native architectures
• IAM
• API Security
• Vulnerability Management
• Experience leading projects, mentoring engineers, or coordinating technical teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with:

• Kubernetes
• Docker
• Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
• Git and CI/CD platforms
• AI applications, LLMs, or AI Agents
• OWASP Top 10
• OWASP LLM Top 10
• NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• NIST AI Risk Management Framework

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, AZ-500, SC-300, AWS Security Specialty, or equivalent are a plus.

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
