AI Engineering Lead (Path to CTO)

Volute is creating the agentic business school by transforming them into always-on subscription hubs that connect proprietary school knowledge, lived experience, and collaboration around emerging business challenges in real time. We’re an early-stage company launching a first-of-its-kind AI community platform, and we’re looking for someone with a mindset to help build a new market category at the intersection of AI, business education, and workforce transformation.

Volute is seeking a hands-on AI engineering leader to develop and support the orchestration layer that connects business schools, enterprise leaders, experts, and proprietary knowledge into a real-time AI-powered workforce platform.

This person is a highly adaptable builder who understands how to architect and scale an AI-first company from the early stages.

The ideal candidate has:

• strong AI-native engineering skills
• experience with agentic AI workflows and automation systems
• understanding of DevOps, deployments, QA, and cybersecurity
• ability to move quickly across infrastructure, product, and operational challenges
• strong systems thinking and workflow design capabilities
• experience leveraging AI to automate development and operational processes
• hands-on development and support while building a team

We are specifically looking for someone who has ambition to grow into the CTO role of a disruptive global company over time.

Candidates should have a degree and experience in AI, engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline.

This role will work directly with the CEO and a highly-experienced support team, and have meaningful influence over the company’s technology direction, operational model, and long-term platform architecture.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
