Responsibilities:
Agentic Workflow Design & Implementation
- Design and implement scalable, AI-driven workflows using Python and modern frameworks to automate and orchestrate business operations.
- Build multi-step, context-aware workflows that coordinate operations and enable intelligent automation across the Allvue product family.
Workflow Orchestration & System Integration
- Design workflow logic that ensures data integrity, operational reliability, and scalability.
- Enable seamless coordination between systems through resilient orchestration patterns.
- Troubleshoot complex workflow and integration challenges in distributed environments.
Reliability, Quality & Engineering Practices
- Implement testing, monitoring, and observability practices to ensure reliability and performance of workflows.
- Contribute reusable components and documentation to support platform consistency and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product architects and engineering teams to align solutions with platform architecture and engineering standards.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement backend and workflow – driven solutions across multiple enterprise systems.
- Strong ability to independently solve complex backend engineering problems within a distributed, service- based systems environment.
- Strong collaboration skills when working with architects, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in complex service-orientated architectures.
- High attention to system reliability, maintainability, and engineering quality.
- Experience using Cursor or similar AI-assisted development environments.
- Advanced Python development experience, including:
- Building workflow-driven services using modern frameworks (e.g., FastAPI).
- Asynchronous programming (async/await, asyncio).
- Designing integrations across enterprise systems and distributed environments.
- Hands-on experience with LangChain / LangGraph for building agentic workflows.
- Strong understanding of LLMs and agent-based architectures (prompting, reasoning flows, tool usage).
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud-native architectures.
- Familiarity with enterprise backend platforms and service-based environments.
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related technical discipline
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience building backend services in distributed enterprise systems
- Professional proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly in both written and verbal formats and to produce high-quality technical documentation.

Job Summary:
The Software Engineer IV designs and delivers backend services and agentic workflows that embed AI into business operations across the Allvue product family. This role focuses on orchestrating intelligent, context-aware processes that automate routine work, guide users in real time, and enhance operational decision-making, while continuing to build scalable .NET and Python-based services that integrate across enterprise systems and existing microservices architectures.
Working closely with product and engineering teams, the engineer builds scalable, reliable solutions that evolve platform capabilities toward AI-driven execution and efficiency, while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and maintaining high levels of system reliability and performance.
