Junior Microsoft SQL / .NET Developer (AI & Cloud Technologies Focus) Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Junior Microsoft SQL / .NET Developer to join our growing technology team. This role is ideal for recent college graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about software development, cloud computing, databases, and the future of Artificial Intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundational understanding of Microsoft development technologies, cloud platforms, and emerging AI trends, along with a desire to grow into a next-generation enterprise technology professional. This position offers the opportunity to work with experienced engineers on modern enterprise applications, cloud infrastructure, AI integration initiatives, and scalable data-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development

● Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.

● Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects within Microsoft SQL Server.

● Support development of APIs, backend services, and web applications using C# and ASP.NET Core.

● Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.

● Collaborate with senior developers, database administrators, and cloud engineers on enterprise projects.

AI & Emerging Technology Awareness

● Demonstrate strong interest and foundational knowledge in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.

● Research and stay informed on how AI, automation, and enterprise technology are expected to evolve over the next 5, 10, and 15 years.

● Assist with AI-related initiatives including automation, analytics, and AI-powered application enhancements.

● Learn and work with technologies such as:

○ Generative AI

○ Large Language Models (LLMs)

○ AI APIs and integrations

○ Machine learning fundamentals

○ Data analytics and intelligent automation

Cloud & Infrastructure Exposure

● Gain hands-on experience working with cloud platforms including:

○ Microsoft Azure

○ Amazon Web Services (AWS)

○ Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

● Assist with cloud deployments, monitoring, and infrastructure support.

● Learn cloud networking fundamentals including:

○ Virtual networks

○ Firewalls

○ Identity & Access Management (IAM)

○ Load balancing

○ DNS and connectivity concepts

● Support DevOps and CI/CD processes.

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in:

○ Computer Science

○ Information Technology

○ Software Engineering

○ Computer Engineering

○ Related technical field

● Recent graduate or up to 2 years of professional experience.

● Foundational knowledge of:

○ C#

○ .NET / ASP.NET Core

○ Microsoft SQL Server

○ T-SQL

○ Object-oriented programming principles

● Basic understanding of cloud platforms and networking concepts.

● Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and future technology trends.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow professionally.

● Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

● Internship, personal projects, or coursework involving:

○ .NET development

○ SQL databases

○ Cloud platforms

○ AI or machine learning

● Familiarity with:

○ Git/GitHub

○ Azure DevOps

○ Docker

○ REST APIs

○ Power BI

● Exposure to AI tools, OpenAI APIs, or automation platforms is a plus.

● Cloud or technical certifications are a plus but not required.
