Szukamy doświadczonej, samodzielnej osoby, która obejmie odpowiedzialność za infrastrukturę IT studia oraz techniczną stronę wykorzystania narzędzi AI: od systemów, serwerów i stacji roboczych, przez licencje i koszty, po automatyzację procesów.

To rola dla osoby, która dobrze czuje się zarówno w klasycznym IT, jak i w nowych technologiach. Potrzebujemy seniora, który potrafi samodzielnie diagnozować problemy, podejmować decyzje, porządkować procesy i budować rozwiązania, a nie tylko reagować na zgłoszenia.

Zakres obowiązków jest szeroki, ponieważ jesteśmy w trakcie rozwoju tego obszaru.
Docelowo planujemy podzielić go na dwie role: senior/lead odpowiedzialny za architekturę, rozwój i decyzje techniczne oraz osoba supportowa wspierająca bieżącą obsługę użytkowników. Na tym etapie szukamy osoby seniorskiej, która pomoże nam ten obszar dobrze poukładać.

TWOJE ZADANIA:
Infrastruktura IT i sprzęt:
– utrzymanie, konfiguracja i rozwój infrastruktury IT studia,
– administracja stacjami roboczymi, stacjami renderującymi, serwerami, siecią, storage’em i urządzeniami peryferyjnymi,
– instalacja, konfiguracja i aktualizacja oprogramowania używanego w produkcji,
– monitorowanie stanu sprzętu i systemów oraz planowanie działań zapobiegawczych,
– zarządzanie kopiami zapasowymi, bezpieczeństwem danych i dostępami,
– wsparcie zespołu w rozwiązywaniu problemów technicznych związanych ze sprzętem, systemami i oprogramowaniem,
– współpraca przy rozwoju infrastruktury renderfarmy i środowiska produkcyjnego.

Narzędzia AI, licencje i koszty:
– administracja narzędziami Gen AI używanymi w studiu,
– zarządzanie dostępami, licencjami, subskrypcjami, kontami i uprawnieniami,
– monitorowanie zużycia tokenów, kredytów i limitów,
– kontrola kosztów, ustawianie alertów, raportowanie zużycia do produkcji i zarządu,
– ocena opłacalności i przydatności nowych narzędzi AI,
– bycie technicznym punktem kontaktowym dla zespołu w zakresie narzędzi AI: co dane narzędzie potrafi, ile kosztuje, jakie ma ograniczenia i gdzie warto je stosować,
– dbanie o podstawową zgodność licencyjną, bezpieczeństwo danych i świadomość ryzyk związanych z użyciem narzędzi AI.

Automatyzacja i tooling:
– tworzenie prostych narzędzi, skryptów i automatyzacji usprawniających pracę studia,
– wykorzystywanie narzędzi AI jako wsparcia przy pisaniu i utrzymywaniu kodu,
– optymalizacja procesów produkcyjnych i back-office,
– współpraca z zespołami kreatywnymi przy wdrażaniu nowych technologii,
– wsparcie rozwoju pipeline’u technicznego studia,
– porządkowanie dokumentacji technicznej, procedur i dobrych praktyk.

NASZE WYMAGANIA:
– doświadczenie na samodzielnym stanowisku IT administratora, IT specialisty, sysadmina lub podobnym,
– praktyczna znajomość administracji systemami Windows,
– dobra znajomość infrastruktury IT: stacje robocze, serwery, sieć, storage, backupy, uprawnienia, bezpieczeństwo,
– umiejętność samodzielnej diagnozy problemów i podejmowania decyzji technicznych,
– doświadczenie w pracy z użytkownikami i rozwiązywaniu bieżących problemów technicznych,
– praktyczne zainteresowanie narzędziami AI i gotowość do ich codziennego używania,
– umiejętność tworzenia prostych skryptów lub automatyzacji, np. Python / Bash / PowerShell,
– umiejętność korzystania z AI jako wsparcia przy pisaniu kodu, przy jednoczesnym rozumieniu, co ten kod robi,
– dobra organizacja pracy i odpowiedzialność za powierzony obszar,
– świadomość kosztów i dyscyplina budżetowa,
– komunikatywność i umiejętność pracy z zespołem kreatywnym,
– gotowość do rozwoju w obszarze AI, automatyzacji i technologii produkcyjnych.

Nie wymagamy wcześniejszego doświadczenia w VFX lub animacji, ale ważne jest, żeby chcieć zrozumieć specyfikę środowiska produkcyjnego, w którym sprzęt, software, storage, licencje i terminy projektów są ze sobą mocno powiązane.

MILE WIDZIANE:
– znajomość Linuxa, szczególnie Rocky Linux,
– doświadczenie w środowisku kreatywnym: studio postprodukcji, animacji, VFX, agencja, produkcja filmowa lub reklamowa,
– doświadczenie z serwerami plików, NAS / SAN, macierzami i storage’em produkcyjnym,
– znajomość sieci: TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, firewalle,
– doświadczenie z renderfarmą lub systemami kolejkowania zadań,
– podstawowa wiedza o renderingu i specyfice pracy stacji graficznych,
– znajomość oprogramowania postprodukcyjnego, np. Houdini, Maya, Nuke, DaVinci Resolve, Flame, After Effects,
– orientacja w narzędziach Gen AI, np. Firefly, Veo, Midjourney, ComfyUI, Kling, Runway,
– świadomość kwestii licencyjnych, prawnych i bezpieczeństwa danych przy korzystaniu z narzędzi AI,
– Ansible lub podstawy Infrastructure as Code,

TELEVISOR is an animation, post-production, and Gen AI studio delivering commercial, film, and music projects for clients in Poland and abroad. We specialize in creative animation, advanced visual effects, and modern technologies that support image and content production.

We are part of the international PFX Group. Our studio is located in the green Sadyba district of Warsaw.

We are looking for an experienced, self-reliant professional who will take ownership of the studio’s IT infrastructure as well as the technical side of AI tool adoption and management: from systems, servers, and workstations, through licensing and cost control, to workflow automation.

This role is ideal for someone who feels equally comfortable in both traditional IT and emerging technologies. We are looking for a senior-level professional who can independently diagnose issues, make decisions, organize processes, and build solutions rather than simply react to support requests.

The scope of responsibilities is broad, as we are currently developing this area of the business.
Our long-term plan is to split it into two separate roles: a senior/lead position responsible for architecture, development, and technical decision-making, and a support role focused on day-to-day user assistance. At this stage, we are looking for a senior person who can help us build and structure this function effectively.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
IT Infrastructure and Hardware:
– maintaining, configuring, and developing the studio’s IT infrastructure,
– administering workstations, render nodes, servers, networks, storage systems, and peripheral devices,
– installing, configuring, and updating software used in production,
– monitoring hardware and system health and planning preventive maintenance,
– managing backups, data security, permissions, and access control,
– supporting the team in resolving technical issues related to hardware, systems, and software,
– collaborating on the development of the render farm infrastructure and production environment.

AI Tools, Licensing, and Cost Management:
– administering Gen AI tools used across the studio,
– managing access rights, licenses, subscriptions, accounts, and permissions,
– monitoring token usage, credits, and service limits,
– controlling costs, setting alerts, and reporting usage to production teams and management,
– evaluating the value and effectiveness of new AI tools,
– acting as the technical point of contact for AI tools: understanding what each tool can do, how much it costs, what its limitations are, and where it delivers the most value,
– ensuring basic licensing compliance, data security, and awareness of risks associated with AI tools.

Automation and Tooling:
– creating simple tools, scripts, and automations that improve studio workflows,
– using AI tools to assist with writing and maintaining code,
– optimizing production and back-office processes,
– collaborating with creative teams on the implementation of new technologies,
– supporting the development of the studio’s technical pipeline,
– organizing and maintaining technical documentation, procedures, and best practices.

OUR REQUIREMENTS:
– experience in an independent IT Administrator, IT Specialist, Systems Administrator, or similar role,
– practical knowledge of Windows administration,
– solid understanding of IT infrastructure: workstations, servers, networking, storage, backups, permissions, and security,
– ability to independently diagnose problems and make technical decisions,
– experience working with end users and resolving day-to-day technical issues,
– practical interest in AI tools and willingness to use them regularly,
– ability to create simple scripts and automations, e.g. Python / Bash / PowerShell,
– ability to use AI as a coding assistant while understanding and validating the generated code,
– strong organizational skills and ownership of the areas under your responsibility,
– awareness of costs and a disciplined approach to budgeting,
– strong communication skills and ability to work with creative teams,
– willingness to grow in the areas of AI, automation, and production technologies.

We do not require previous experience in VFX or animation, but it is important to be interested in understanding the specifics of a production environment, where hardware, software, storage, licensing, and project deadlines are closely interconnected.

NICE TO HAVE:
– knowledge of Linux, particularly Rocky Linux,
– experience in a creative environment: post-production studio, animation studio, VFX company, agency, film, or commercial production,
– experience with file servers, NAS / SAN systems, storage arrays, and production storage infrastructure,
– networking knowledge: TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls,
– experience with render farms or job scheduling systems,
– basic understanding of rendering workflows and graphics workstations,
– familiarity with post-production software such as Houdini, Maya, Nuke, DaVinci Resolve, Flame, or After Effects,
– familiarity with Gen AI tools such as Firefly, Veo, Midjourney, ComfyUI, Kling, or Runway,
– awareness of licensing, legal, and data security considerations related to AI tools,
– Ansible or basic Infrastructure as Code knowledge,
– familiarity with macOS,
– experience creating and maintaining processes, technical documentation, and operational standards.

This is not a purely helpdesk role, nor is it a purely software engineering role. We are looking for someone who can combine IT administration, systems thinking, cost ownership, and a practical approach to emerging technologies.
