Deep Learning / Computer Vision engineer

The project:

IREX is a video-based cloud platform to empower city governments, public safety organizations, transportation authorities, and service providers with an Ethical AI and Big Data platform. IREX connects cameras and sensors to a secure private cloud, analyzing data in real-time and providing vital, proactive opportunities to prevent security and safety incidents.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage a team of highly qualified machine learning and computer vision engineers. - Proactively support the team, expand it in accordance with the team development plan.
• Maintain a high standard of technical expertise within the team and lead by example.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in other teams to define promising directions in the product, identify and eliminate difficulties in the cross-team communication, proactively take part in the product design and implementation of cross-functional tasks.
• Drive the creation and execution of the team roadmap.
• Prioritize tasks within the team and agree on priority with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the top leadership to define and implement the company development strategy.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on leadership experience in development of holistic web solutions with production deployment . Design and implementation experience in server-side components (business logic, API) with containerized applications, single page UI, infrastructure planning, implementation of continuous integration and delivery pipelines, etc.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development with any high level programming languages like C++, Java, Python, Go.
• High problem-solving skills with algorithms and data structures, good understanding of BigO notation for complexity estimation.
• Hands-on experience with design and implementation of end-to-end ML/AI solutions.
• You look ahead and follow global trends in ML/AI and are able to identify promising opportunities for the team and company.
• You are able to plan feasible tasks using existing resources.
• You have a deep technical experience that will allow you to contribute to the development of the product and ML/AI strategies in the company.
• You communicate relevant information concisely and to the point.
