About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager who enjoys leading teams while remaining technically involved

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring engineers, driving engineering excellence, solving complex technical challenges, and delivering high-quality software for global clients.

You will lead one or more engineering teams, collaborate with Product, Delivery, and Client stakeholders, and contribute to the organization's AI-first engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Leadership

• Lead and mentor engineering teams delivering client and internal products.
• Drive engineering best practices, code quality, architecture, and technical excellence.
• Conduct code reviews and technical design discussions.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Delivery Managers, and Solution Architects.

Technical Ownership

• Participate in architecture decisions and technical planning.
• Solve complex technical challenges and production issues.
• Contribute hands-on to critical features whenever required.
• Ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable software design.
• Drive engineering standards across projects.

Team Management

• Mentor and coach software engineers.
• Conduct performance reviews and technical feedback sessions.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and career development.
• Promote a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Delivery Excellence

• Manage sprint planning, estimations, and execution.
• Collaborate with Delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor engineering metrics, quality, and productivity. Identify delivery risks and proactively resolve them.

Required Technical Skills

We are looking for someone who remains technically strong while effectively leading teams

Required Experience

• 8–12 years of software engineering experience.
• 2–4 years leading engineering teams.
• Strong experience delivering enterprise applications.

Technical Expertise

• Python and/or TypeScript
• React.js and Node.js
• REST APIs and Microservices
• SQL & NoSQL Databases
• Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Docker & Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipelines Git

AI & Modern Engineering Experience (Preferred)

Experience working with:

• Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• LangGraph / CrewAI / AutoGen
• MCP (Model Context Protocol)
• AI Coding Tools like:
• Claude Code
• Cursor
• GitHub Copilot
• Prompt Engineering AI-assisted Software Development

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience working with international clients.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Passion for AI and emerging technologies.
