DEV of ML algorithms for detecting attacks on vehicular communications networks

Questa tesi si concentra sullo sviluppo di algoritmi di apprendimento automatico per il rilevamento di attacchi informatici sui sistemi di bordo delle automobili. L’obiettivo è identificare rapidamente qualsiasi anomalia o comportamento sospetto per prevenire gli attacchi e proteggere il veicolo e i suoi occupanti.

This thesis focuses on the development of machine learning algorithms for the detection of cyber-attacks on on-board car systems. The aim is to quickly identify any anomalies or suspicious behavior to prevent attacks and protect the vehicle and its occupants.

Candidate requirements/Course of study:
A team of highly motivated students with a good background in cybersecurity topics and machine learning. Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink and basic programming skills are welcome.
