Your role
About the Role
At OneDigital, we drive Symrise’s digital transformation with the ambition to become the most digitally empowered company on the planet. Within our Data, Analytics & AI organization, we turn data into decisions and ideas into impact through modern technologies, trusted insights, and responsible AI solutions.
As Senior Manager – Data & AI Stewards Community, you will lead and strengthen our enterprise-wide Data & AI Steward community across all business domains. You will foster engagement, drive governance adoption, and build strong collaboration networks that enable impactful and responsible use of data and AI across the organization. This role combines community leadership, change management, and governance expertise to help shape Symrise’s data-driven future.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the enterprise-wide Data & AI Steward community
- Drive engagement initiatives and promote collaboration across business domains
- Establish and maintain governance standards, frameworks, and best practices
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align governance initiatives with strategic priorities
- Promote data governance principles and responsible AI practices
- Support data and AI literacy, democratization, and community adoption efforts
- Facilitate workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and community activities
- Monitor governance maturity and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Act as an advocate for stewardship and data culture initiatives across Symrise
About you
You are passionate about building communities, driving collaboration, and enabling organizations to unlock value through data and AI. You bring a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a global environment.
You also bring:
- Experience in data governance, data management, analytics, AI, or related areas
- Experience leading communities, programs, or cross-functional initiatives
- Understanding of data governance principles and AI-related topics
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively across business and technology teams
- Strong facilitation, organizational, and change management skills
- Passion for data-driven culture and responsible AI adoption
- Fluent English skills; additional languages are a plus
