About the Role
We are looking for a tech-forward mental health or social work professional to help us deliver a new model of digital caregiver support.
This role combines caregiver coaching, mental health support, local resource navigation, and digital health innovation. The ideal candidate has some clinical or behavioral health experience and is comfortable using new technology, testing AI-supported workflows, and supporting caregivers through SMS and digital tools.
This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys both direct family support and helping improve new care tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive digital coaching to caregivers through text, phone, and online tools
• Help monitor caregiver conversations and identify when human follow-up is needed
• Use and test AI-supported workflows for caregiver support
• Help refine message scripts, escalation rules, and caregiver response pathways
• Connect families to local resources when appropriate, including insurance support, public benefits, home/community-based services, housing, transportation, food assistance, and other social services
• Support caregivers with stress, uncertainty, emotional burden, and care navigation
• Document caregiver interactions and flag concerns appropriately
• Collaborate with the team to improve the digital care experience

Ideal Candidate

• Has a background in social work, counseling, behavioral health, psychology, community health, or mental health support
• Has some direct experience with mental health, family support, caregiver support, or case management
• Knows local resources for families, including insurance, benefits, aides, housing, transportation, and other support services
• Is highly responsive and comfortable communicating through text and digital tools
• Is interested in new technology and open to working with AI-supported systems
• Has strong judgment around safety, boundaries, and escalation
• Is empathetic, positive, curious, and adaptable
• Enjoys working in a fast-moving environment where tools and workflows are still being developed
• Can provide practical, human support without over-medicalizing the conversation

Nice to Have

• LMSW, LCSW, MSW, or related credential
• Experience in digital health, telehealth, crisis support, or care navigation
• Experience with serious mental illness, caregiver burden, rural health, or Medicaid populations
• Comfort giving feedback on AI/chatbot tools, SMS workflows, or digital support products

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
