Job Description

We are looking for an AI Engineer to join a strategic enterprise AI programme focused on building production-grade Generative AI solutions using the AWS ecosystem. The role centres on designing, developing, and deploying scalable AI applications, integrating foundation models into enterprise platforms, and delivering secure, production-ready solutions.

This is a hands-on engineering position requiring strong commercial experience with AWS Bedrock, Python, and modern GenAI frameworks, along with a proven track record of delivering enterprise AI solutions rather than proof-of-concept projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and build enterprise Generative AI solutions using AWS Bedrock
• Integrate foundation models into production applications
• Build Retrieval Augmented Generation solutions
• Develop AI powered APIs and backend services
• Design scalable AI architectures on AWS
• Create prompt engineering strategies and optimise LLM performance
• Integrate vector databases and enterprise knowledge sources
• Monitor AI applications for quality, security and performance
• Collaborate with architects, software engineers and business stakeholders
• Support production deployments and continuous improvements

Requirements

• Commercial experience delivering Generative AI solutions
• Strong hands on experience with AWS Bedrock
• Experience working with AWS foundation models
• Experience building Retrieval Augmented Generation solutions
• Strong Python development skills
• Experience with LangChain and/or LangGraph
• Experience developing REST APIs
• Experience integrating LLMs into enterprise applications
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services
• Experience with prompt engineering
• Experience with vector databases such as OpenSearch, Pinecone, FAISS or similar
• Experience with Git and CI/CD
• Fluent English
