JOB TITLE: Principal Data Scientist

LOCATION: Plano, TX (hybrid role, may work from home)

DUTIES: Serve as a primary technical expert and thought leader in data science and machine learning; define and drive the technical strategy for AI/ML initiatives, identifying high-value opportunities for optimization, predictive analytics, and process improvement across diverse use cases; architect and oversee the development of robust, scalable, and production-ready DS/ML models and solutions; lead end-to-end DS/ML projects, define project scope, timelines, and deliverables; mentor and guide junior/mid-level data scientists and ML engineers; drive MLOps best practices for reliable and efficient model deployment and lifecycle management; act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, understanding their business challenges and translating them into solvable DS/ML problems; communicate analytical findings, model performance, and business recommendations; facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to identify new opportunities for AI/ML adoption; lead the identification, prioritization, and execution of AI/ML use cases; dissect complex problems, derive actionable insights from data, and design innovative solutions; develop and implement models for predictive analytics, optimization, pattern recognition, and automation.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer or Data Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a data scientist/analyst, machine learning engineer, software engineer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 3 years in data analytics, data science, and software engineering; 2 years in the development and deployment of machine learning solutions at enterprise, neural networks and deep learning, Python programming, cloud platforms, and MLOps principles. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
