Solutions Architect – SaaS, AI & GRC
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect – SaaS, AI & GRC who thrives at the intersection of technology, governance, risk, and compliance. In this client-facing role, you will design and deliver scalable SaaS solutions, support AI-driven transformation initiatives, and help organisations successfully adopt GRC platforms.
You will act as a trusted technical advisor, working closely with customers to understand complex business challenges, architect solutions, and translate requirements into practical, secure, and scalable implementations. This role requires strong technical expertise, including hands-on coding, SQL proficiency, AI implementation experience, and the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end customer engagements, including discovery, solution design, architecture, implementation guidance, and adoption.
- Design scalable SaaS solution architectures aligned with customer business objectives, security requirements, and compliance needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on GRC solution strategy, implementation best practices, and optimisation opportunities.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical designs, workflows, integrations, and implementation plans.
- Build and configure solutions using strong programming skills, SQL expertise, APIs, automation, and data-driven approaches.
- Develop and support AI-enabled capabilities, including AI integrations, workflow automation, LLM-based solutions, and AI agent implementations.
- Analyse customer data and requirements using SQL to support solution design, reporting, integrations, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct technical workshops, architecture reviews, product demonstrations, and executive-level solution discussions.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Professional Services teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.
- Identify technical risks, recommend solutions, and ensure high-quality delivery standards.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to building technical capability across the team.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–10 years of experience in a client-facing Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, Professional Services, or Advisory role.
- Strong hands-on coding experience is mandatory with the ability to design, develop, troubleshoot, and automate technical solutions.
- Advanced SQL skills are mandatory, including querying, data analysis, optimisation, and working with complex datasets.
- Proven experience designing and implementing SaaS-based enterprise solutions.
- Strong understanding of GRC concepts, risk management, compliance processes, and governance frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with AI implementation, including AI integrations, LLM-based solutions, automation, or AI agent development.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, data flows, and enterprise application architecture.
- Understanding of cloud platforms and architecture principles (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Ability to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with experience engaging customers, conducting workshops, and presenting technical solutions to senior stakeholders.
- Relevant GRC certification or accreditation (completed, in progress, or planned).
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience architecting enterprise GRC, compliance, audit, risk, or governance platforms.
- Experience building automation solutions and AI-powered workflows.
- Experience with scripting languages, APIs, integrations, and modern development frameworks.
- Experience supporting enterprise customers through complex digital transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of security, privacy, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.
- Experience managing delivery milestones, risks, scope, and customer expectations.
- Passion for developing deep expertise and becoming a recognised SME across SaaS, AI, and GRC.
