Expert AI Software Developer - Automation & Innovation Department

• Lead technical design and architecture for AI systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Guide team members (developers, AI engineers, data scientists) through best practices and code reviews.
• Own cloud infrastructure strategy across AWS and GCP for AI workloads, including cost optimization and security.
• Ensure system reliability and performance, troubleshooting distributed systems and optimizing resource usage.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the tech stack.

• 5+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years in AI projects.
• Deep understanding of GenAI concepts – Transformers, Pretraining, Finetuning
• Proven experience leading technical teams (mentoring, code reviews, architecture decisions).
• Ability to translate business goals into technical strategies.
• Track record of delivering Software/AI projects from concept to production.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies.
• Feeling comfortable with Scripting (Bash, Python).
• Experience working with AI Engineers, System Architects and Cloud Architects.
• Problem solving mindset - ability to troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems, as well as help Engineers in their daily work.
• Attention to detail.
• Good English skills - B2+.

The Automation & Innovation Department builds solutions powered by AI, GenAI, process automation (RPA, BPA, AIM) and data analytics/ML models running in GCP, AWS and Kubernetes ️. We deliver a wide range of projects across T-Mobile - from network operations to sales and customer care, plus internal and international initiatives - with a strong focus on data platforms and data engineering (data lake/warehouse in BigQuery, ETL/ELT orchestration, data governance, data quality and security). Our portfolio includes things like conversational assistants for HR and sales, knowledge search tools for consultants, employee development apps or proactive customer communication systems.
