Job Summary
World Labs is seeking a Pipeline Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable software pipelines that power AI, computer vision, and 3D graphics applications. In this role, you will develop backend infrastructure and automated workflows that transform research innovations into reliable, production-ready systems while collaborating with AI researchers, graphics engineers, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software pipelines for AI and 3D data processing.
- Build backend services, APIs, and automation tools that support machine learning and graphics workflows.
- Develop automated pipelines for ingesting, processing, validating, and managing large-scale 3D assets.
- Support AI model training, inference, dataset preparation, and deployment workflows.
- Build and maintain cloud-native infrastructure, distributed systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize system reliability.
- Implement automated testing, validation, and security best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready software solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar languages.
- Experience with backend development, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of 3D graphics, computer vision, rendering, or simulation technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Blender, Unreal Engine, Unity, OpenGL, Vulkan, or similar graphics tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
