As our new Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist, you will play a hands-on role in bringing applied AI and machine learning solutions to life. You will join a skilled team, collaborating to transform data into practical business value. While building and expanding our capabilities within the Snowflake ecosystem, you will primarily work with Microsoft technologies such as Azure to deliver modern Data & AI solutions for mostly Polish clients and selected international projects.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and fine-tune forecasting, classification, and similarity-matching models using Python and ML libraries
- Partner with customers to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into clear, actionable technical solutions
- Develop, run, and maintain ML/AI workflows within the Snowflake platform as well as Databricks or Microsoft Fabric
- Work with AI services to deliver practical, customer-focused solutions, including AI-based applications and automation tools
- Actively collaborate with Data Engineers, supporting data transformation, cleaning, and pipeline development to ensure high-quality data for your models
What we need to see from you
- Commercial experience in a Data Science, ML Engineering, or Data-heavy Python Developer role
- In-depth Python programming skills tailored for data processing, analysis, and ML modeling
- Solid knowledge of SQL – comfortable querying and manipulating data in cloud data warehouses
- Practical experience with classic Machine Learning approaches (Regression, Classification, Forecasting)
- Exposure to Generative AI / LLMs and cloud AI services (e.g., OCR, cognitive search), through projects or academic work
- Comfortable supporting data engineering and data preparation tasks when needed
