Senior AI Engineer (ML/Data Science Specialist)

Sloboda Studio is seeking a Senior AI Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI system architecture. You’ll work on building and scaling AI-powered solutions that directly support the client’s global operations in the travel tech domain (ticket aggregation and reselling). This is a high-impact role focused on delivering production-ready AI solutions with measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy AI applications using cutting-edge LLM technologies (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, LLaMA)

Architect scalable Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and advanced AI workflows

Utilize orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, vLLM, LMDeploy

Integrate vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Weaviate, Pinecone, Milvus) into AI pipelines

Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to drive AI adoption

Present results and models to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives

Drive the full development lifecycle—from ideation and prototyping to deployment and monitoring

Follow MLOps and LLMOps best practices for scalability, reproducibility, and performance

Qualification

6+ years of experience designing and deploying production-grade AI/ML systems

Proven experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG architecture

Proficient in Python, Java, Golang and SQL

Strong understanding of model evaluation, feature engineering, and preprocessing

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Self-driven, proactive, and capable of delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision

Experience deploying scalable AI systems for real-time, high-performance environments is a plus
