AI Engineer (Generative AI Development)

An experienced AI Engineer is sought to join an AI technology team focused on advancing Generative AI capabilities across the organization. The role involves extending an existing analytics platform to support advanced AI use cases and delivering end-to-end AI solutions that create business value.

Tasks

• Develop and evaluate proof-of-concepts for new AI applications and bring the most promising solutions into production.
• Enhance and scale a modern Generative AI architecture built on Microsoft Azure.
• Build foundational capabilities required to support AI use cases at scale, including cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with analytics and business stakeholders to identify and implement the most appropriate technical solutions for AI-driven use cases.
• Contribute to the development of scalable, reliable, and maintainable AI systems and platforms.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of common patterns and architectures for applying Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with AI-powered search technologies, including vector search and Azure AI Search.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and AI development.Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience working with databases, data warehouses, data lakes, or similar data platforms.
• Experience building AI agents using orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or PydanticAI.
• Experience with containerized development and deployment using Docker or similar technologies.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with web frontend development using Streamlit, React, or similar technologies.
• Experience working with Databricks.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with multi-agent systems.
• Experience evaluating, scaling, and productionizing proof-of-concepts.
