AI Solutions Engineer

Essential Skills

• Education: Four-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience (Python and/or TypeScript).
• Demonstrated experience building and deploying LLM applications in production.
• Working knowledge of agent orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, etc.).
• Proficiency in prompt engineering (structured output, chain-of-thought).
• Experience designing and running evaluations for AI-based systems.
• Familiarity with common API designs (REST, GraphQL, JSON-RPC).
• Experience with agentic software engineering using Claude Code, Codex, or comparable solutions.
• Experience with source code management using Git.
• Displays excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical personnel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment where requirements shift between engagements.
• Performs development tasks with little supervision; self-motivated and self-directed.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working and integrating systems with commerce platforms (commercetools, Shopify, Kibo, or similar).
• Familiarity with emerging standards like MCP, ACP, and UCP
• Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector).
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC, and deploying AI systems to GCP, Azure, or AWS.
