Senior Full Stack Developer with AI Integration

About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to build and maintain our platform. You have deep full stack experience, you work with AI tools as a standard part of your workflow, and you can communicate technical decisions clearly to a non-technical team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build, and maintain the full stack — frontend, backend, and infrastructure
• Integrate and manage third-party APIs, payment systems, and business tools
• Maintain platform security, uptime, and performance
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Integrate AI/LLM APIs into product features where appropriate
• Evaluate and select the right AI models and tools for each use case
• Diagnose and resolve production issues — including outside business hours
• Write modular, documented, maintainable code
• Conduct code reviews and set the technical standard for the team
• Mentor junior developers

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of full stack development experience in a production environment
• Backend — strong proficiency in Node.js, Python, or PHP
• Frontend — strong proficiency in React, Vue, or Angular
• Databases — PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB; knows when to use which
• Cloud infrastructure — hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• DevOps — CI/CD pipelines, Docker, deployment management
• Security — OWASP Top 10, secure coding practices, access control
• Actively uses AI developer tools — Claude, GPT-4o, Gemini, Cursor, Copilot, and others
• Understands AI concepts — prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, agents, tool use
• Can explain technical decisions and tradeoffs to a non-technical audience

Bonus Points

• Production experience integrating LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or open-source models)
• Experience with AI agent frameworks — LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar
• Familiarity with open-source models (Llama, Mistral, or similar)
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector)
• Background in SaaS or high-traffic web applications
• Portfolio or live examples of work

Pay: $50.00-$75.00 per hour
