Job Description

As an AI Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions that optimize mining operations, support predictive maintenance, improve safety through computer vision, and enable smarter operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AI and machine learning models for mining applications.
• Build predictive maintenance and equipment monitoring solutions.
• Create computer vision systems for safety and operational efficiency.
• Analyze large operational and sensor datasets to identify improvement opportunities.
• Deploy and monitor AI models in production environments.
• Collaborate with mining, engineering, and software teams on AI initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Python, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong analytical, programming, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Master's degree in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science.
• Experience with MLOps, big data technologies, or IoT systems.
• Understanding of mining operations or industrial automation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
