Commitment & contract: Full-time internship within the Erasmus+ Traineeship programme for undergraduate students enrolled in a master’s degree programme; the position requires a time commitment of 40 hours/week (full time).

*Location:*Center for Cultural Heritage Technology, Roncade (Treviso), Italy

Duration: 6 months

Start date: 15/09/2026 (flexible)

Compensation: No salary granted by IIT (applicants must rely on funding from their University’s Erasmus+ programme)

THE ROLE

During your internship you will work on a projectin the Cultural Heritage Technologies (https://www.iit.it/it/web/cultural-heritage-technologies) group, coordinated by Arianna Traviglia. This group focuses on Cu****ltural Heritage Technologies: Remote Sensing Technologies.

Your activity will comprise

  • State-of-the-art models report preparation
  • Remote sensing data understanding
  • Software development of few-shot learning models

And will allow you to develop competences in

  • Software management (e.g., Git use)
  • Types of data in remote sensing
  • Use of PyTorch and/or HuggingFace

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • To be registered as a student in an undergraduate master’s degree programme in Computer engineering, Computer Science or a cognate fieldofstudy for the entire duration of your stay at IIT
  • To have a good command of spoken and written English
  • To rely on funding from your University’s Erasmus+ programme
